Miscanthus sinensis ‘Morning Light’

Miscanthus sinensis ‘Morning Light’ is an elegant ornamental grass with fine, arching green leaves edged with a delicate silvery-white stripe. The narrow foliage gives the plant a light, graceful appearance and catches the sunlight beautifully as it moves in the breeze.

This is a lovely choice for adding texture, movement and structure to borders. As summer progresses, soft, feathery flower plumes appear above the foliage, adding further interest and continuing into autumn.

The foliage and flower heads can be left standing through winter, giving the garden valuable structure during the colder months and providing useful shelter for overwintering wildlife.
