Sedum spurium ‘Tricolor’ (Caucasian Stonecrop)
A hardy, low-growing succulent admired for its colourful foliage and ease of care. This mat-forming perennial has green leaves edged in creamy-white with pink tinges, which can develop a stronger rosy blush in cooler weather. In summer, it produces clusters of small, star-shaped pale pink flowers that are highly attractive to butterflies.
Reaching around 7–15cm (3–6") tall with a spread of 30–45cm (12–18"), Sedum ‘Tricolor’ is ideal for ground cover, rock gardens, containers, and edging paths. It thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, tolerates drought once established, and is extremely low-maintenance. Hardy and reliable, it provides year-round interest and a splash of colour even in tough conditions.
