Saxifraga x arendsii ‘Saxony White’

A charming and compact perennial, perfect for adding brightness to spring displays. From March to May, it produces masses of small, pure white star-shaped flowers held above neat cushions of mossy green foliage. Low-growing and spreading, it forms a dense mat that is both decorative and weed-suppressing.

Reaching around 10–15cm (4–6") tall with a spread of 20–25cm (8–10"), Saxifraga ‘Saxony White’ is ideal for rock gardens, alpine troughs, path edges, or the front of sunny borders. It thrives in well-drained soil and prefers a sunny or lightly shaded position. Hardy and easy to grow, it provides reliable early-season colour with very little maintenance required.
