Miscanthus sinensis ‘Morning Light’
Common name: Maiden Grass

A graceful ornamental grass forming elegant clumps of fine, arching green leaves edged with narrow white margins, giving a soft silvery appearance from a distance.

In late summer to autumn, slender stems rise above the foliage carrying delicate pinkish flower plumes that gradually fade to silvery tones. The dried seed heads provide interest well into winter.

‘Morning Light’ is more refined and airy than many other Miscanthus varieties, making it perfect for adding movement and texture to mixed borders.

Best grown in full sun in well-drained soil.
