Echinacea purpurea

The classic Coneflower, reaching up to 90cm (36") tall with a spread of 60cm (24"). From July to September, it produces bold pink-purple petals with coppery-orange cones on strong stems. A reliable perennial for borders, prairie-style planting, or naturalised areas. Much loved by bees and butterflies, it also provides excellent cut flowers. Prefers full sun and well-drained soil.
