Ajuga reptans ‘Princess Elsa’

A striking, low-growing perennial that spreads to form a dense carpet of colourful ground cover. Its attractive foliage is green with creamy-white variegation, flushed with pink tones in cooler weather, bringing year-round interest. In late spring to early summer, upright spikes of vibrant blue flowers rise above the foliage, providing nectar for bees and other pollinators.

Growing to around 10–15cm (4–6") tall with a spreading habit, Ajuga ‘Princess Elsa’ is perfect for borders, path edges, rockeries, or shaded areas beneath shrubs. It thrives in moist, well-drained soil and prefers partial shade, though it will tolerate full shade. Easy to grow and low-maintenance, this variety is an excellent choice for brightening tricky garden spots while keeping weeds at bay.
