Allium Christophii

Huge globes of small star-shaped, pinkish-purple flowers appear in early summer. These blooms can be up to 20cm in diameter with a metallic sheen. Perfect for sunny spots, dotted in small groups amongst ornamental grasses for example. Alliums look better when planted between medium-sized herbaceous plants, which will help mask the fading leaves as the flowers appear
